Fall 2008 Baby Sale
Twice a year we hold a club-wide sale of everything related to children, including maternity clothes, infant/toddler/older kids clothes, toys, furniture, bedding, books, videos, and anything else you can think of.
PVMOM Spring Clothing sale will take place on Saturday, October 4th
at the Desert SpringsBible Church, 16215 North Tatum Boulevard (on Tatum about ½ mile South of Bell Road). The sale enjoys an excellent reputation with the public for a wide selection of clothing and baby equipment at great prices.
The previous sale was a great success with over 60 sellers participating. The majority of our club members took advantage of the members only shopping hour, and our friends and family lined up hours in advance to get an opportunity to shop prior to the general public. It’s especially exciting for expecting mothers, since it’s a one-stop shopping bonanza for babies and small children items. Prepare to be overwhelmed by the amount of items being sold.
Start gathering up your clothing, accessories, shoes, baby furniture and equipment, toys and other miscellaneous maternity/child/parenting items and get ready for the PVMOM Bi-Annual Clothing Sale. This is a cash-only sale; checks will only be accepted from sellers and members in good standing.
Registration & Shift Information
- Registration and sign-up for shifts will begin at 6:00 pm at the September General Meeting. Please do not call the Clothing Sale Chairwomen before this time. If you are unable to attend the meeting please email (preferred) mamamiadesigns@cox.net or call Kim Boardman at or (623-764-6697) after the March meeting to register for shifts.
- Only paid members and their friends may sell. No registrations or cancellations will be accepted 1 week prior to the sale.
- Members must pay $10 and non-members must pay a $25 fee to sell. It is NONREFUNDABLE for no-shows. $10 fee required at time of registration.
- All sellers must work a three (3) hour shift, during which time no shopping is allowed. ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN are allowed while working a shift or during setup.

- Special Sale News
We appreciate the feedback we receive from club members and have incorporated the following into the Fall Sale:
- 2008 Fall Sale Contest!! - We would like all of our members to participate in the success of the sale and also have a chance to be rewarded for their efforts! The $1 off flyer will be available in the September newsletter and at the September meeting. You may also contact Kim Boardman at mamamiadesigns@cox.net for your “special” flyer with the dollar off promotion. Please include your name and seller number on the bottom right hand corner of the flyer. Distribute the flyers to everyone you know. Take it to school and establishments you frequent. The flyer is redeemable for $1.00 off admission at the door The two people who get the most flyers redeemed at the sale on will win a prize valued at upwards of $50.00.
- We are pleased to bring back the PVMOM Sale Table! This is for members who would like to donate their saleable baby items to the club. The club in turn will tag and sell the items at the sale. All proceeds go back into the club to fund monthly speakers, activities for children and parents, etc.
- A portion of the proceeds from our sale go to the club’s operating expenses and educational programs.
- We will also be bringing back the PVMOM Philanthropic Outreach Program. This program touches both PVMOM members in need as well others in the community we live in. Visit our Philanthropic Outreach page for more information.
- Increased advertising IE: new signs and flyers distributed through mailouts and internet.
- The Spring Sale is for Spring/Summer items only. Fall Sale is for Fall/Winter items only.

8:30 - 9:15am - Seller Shopping
9:15 - 10:00am PVMOM Member/Prospects Shopping
10:00am - 1:00pm – Public Shopping w/a $3.00 Shopping Fee, NO CHILDREN
1:00 - 3:00pm - Public Shopping w/out shopping fee, children admitted
3:00 - 4:00pm - Unsold Item Pickup
