PVMOM Yahoo Group Guidelines
Paradise Valley Mothers of Multiples club offers a free PVMOM Yahoo Group, a fun and informative online discussion board. Participation in the Yahoo Group is limited to PVMOM members and prospects only. Members can choose to visit the Yahoo Group web site online and read the posts periodically, or subscribe to receive individual e-mails or a daily digest of posts sent to a personal e-mail box. To participate, members will need to register for a Yahoo ID and password.
The following are some guidelines to be followed when using the PVMOM Yahoo Group:
- We welcome posts related to our club, parenting & family issues, items wanted to buy, sell or give away, local events, play group meetings and pertinent topics. Members are encouraged to sell children’s items at the semi-annual PVMOM Sale. In consideration of PVMOM members who are selling in our clothing sale, we ask that you do not sell anything on our Yahoo Group one month prior to the sale.
- We encourage members to share referrals for great services they have received, but PVMOM does not permit the advertisement of services or commercial companies on our Yahoo Group. If you are interested in advertising your small business through PVMOM, please contact the newsletter editor and place an advertisement.
- Please be courteous to fellow members and use appropriate language at ALL times.
- Please do not post/forward spam, junk mail, urban legends or chain letters to this group.
- Use the appropriate method for your posts and responses:
- Send messages of general interest to the entire group using “POST” to create a new message, click “REPLY TO GROUP” from a topic shown in a daily digest or “REPLY” while reading a post online.
- Send an individual e-mail to a member for more personal topics. Individual email addresses can be found in the PVMOM Member Directory at www.myPVMOM.org. From an individual’s posting on PVMOM Yahoo Group web site, you can also use the “SEND E-MAIL” button to send only the author a reply, or click “REPLY TO SENDER” from a topic shown in a daily digest.
- Have FUN and please utilize this membership benefit to its fullest
extent!
